Our Story | Authentic Bacolod Napoleones Since 1996

Leones Napoleones began in 1996 as a family bakery in Bacolod City, home of some of the Philippines’ most beloved pasalubong delicacies. What started as a small kitchen baking bibingka, banana cake, meat pie, pianono, pineapple pie, siopao, and napoleones eventually became part of Bacolod’s well-known pasalubong culture.

In 1999, Leones Napoleones became the original supplier of napoleones for Pendy’s, one of Bacolod’s most recognized pasalubong institutions. Through the years, countless visitors brought home our freshly baked Bacolod napoleones as part of their experience in the City of Smiles.

As demand grew, we continued supplying napoleones to pasalubong centers and restaurant partners across Bacolod while staying focused on what mattered most: fresh, handcrafted napoleones made with delicate flaky pastry, rich custard filling, and authentic Bacolod flavor.

In 2020, the pandemic disrupted tourism and long-standing operations across the industry, including the closure of Pendy’s. Like many local businesses, we faced a major turning point.

Rather than stop, we continued independently and built Leones Napoleones as our own brand — making authentic Bacolod napoleones more accessible to customers looking for the best pasalubong from Bacolod.

Today, our napoleones are still baked fresh in Bacolod and flown in selected batches to Manila for customers craving authentic Bacolod pasalubong for gifting, sharing, celebrations, or simply enjoying at home.

Nearly three decades later, Leones Napoleones continues to be guided by the same values we started with: freshness, craftsmanship, and authentic Bacolod flavor.
